MiDAS Trainer Courses

MiDAS  PAT Training provides classroom-based theory training  on passenger assistance and how train Passenger Assistants to assist those with walking difficulties, sight loss and wheelchair users.

Regular refresher training is a significant element of MiDAS and in order to retain their MiDAS Certificate, trainers must attend refresher training within the specified period.

Three Shires Driving Centre Ltd provides courses for both the Trainers and the Passenger Assistants so if your organisation is looking to have trainers trained to deliver MiDAS courses or if you are looking to have your passenger assistants or Car and MPV drivers trained Three Shires is your one stop shop.

We can train up to three at our MiDAS Trainer location in East Northants or we can travel to you provided you have three or more delegates and a suitable facility for training, for one to one training the courses are at our location.

For those involved with assisting wheelchair users and those with walking difficulties and other disabilities when travelling on minibuses this is the course for you.

For those who drive cars or MPV’s within the care environment this course is designed to give the same level of training as the minibus courses.
